Your duties will include technical oversight of all structural works, contractor coordination, quality control, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications.Key Responsibilities* Assist the Resident Engineer in supervising viaduct construction including beams, columns, decks, spans, and other structural components* Monitor structural work progress and ensure construction meets approved designs and safety protocols* Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals for compliance with project requirements* Coordinate with design engineers and contractors for resolving on-site issues* Oversee work inspectors, surveyors, and other team members on assigned viaduct sections* Maintain daily logs and contribute to weekly and monthly project progress reports* Attend coordination meetings with service authorities, subcontractors, and stakeholders* Validate as-built drawings and oversee final project handover documentation* Support the enforcement of safety procedures and project quality goals Job Requirements* Bachelor s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university* Minimum 15 years of experience in structural supervision for viaducts, bridges, or metro rail projects* Strong knowledge of viaduct components such as bearings, expansion joints, abutments, and supports* Familiarity with construction quality assurance, sampling, and testing procedures* Ability to lead technical teams and interface with contractors and consultants* Fully computer literate with experience in project documentation and relevant engineering software* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English* Work experience on metro rail or infrastructure projects in the UAE or GCC is preferred What We Offer* Full-time engineer job in Dubai metro rail viaduct projects* Competitive compensation and long-term career opportunity* Access to advanced metro infrastructure programs with global impact Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
