Responsibilities Prepare and verify the accuracy of financial documents for reporting purposes. Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closings to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger. Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting and tax regulations. Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations. Develop and monitor business performance metrics to provide insights on financial performance. Mentor and train junior accounting staff to enhance their skills and professional development. Maintain and enhance financial systems and processes to improve operational efficiency. Assist in budget formulation and forecasting to support business planning activities. Prepare financial statements and reports that follow regulatory and legal guidelines. Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial processes and resolve any financial discrepancies. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent is strongly preferred. A minimum of five years of experience in accounting or a related field. Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Proficient in accounting software, such as Quick Books, and MS Office Suite, especially Excel. Excellent analytical skills with a knack for numbers and attention to detail. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Proven experience in a leadership role with the ability to manage and develop teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.
