Direct message the job poster from Anotech Strategic Talent Acquisition Leader I Specializing in Oil & Gas Industry Recruitment I Driving Organizational Growth through Top Talent Acquisition Qualifications and Experience Work as a key member of the Mechanical discipline team Interface with AIP Commissioning and operations team to ensure clear guidance and clarifications regarding scope of work, specifically for Mechanical MC and punches close out Monitor and collaborate with Vendors, JV ATS, Project procurement expeditor, and responsible engineers to ensure Mechanical packages meet MC requirements Ensure proper practices for Mechanical packages/equipment installation, alignment, and leveling per Vendor and Mechanical completion standards Coordinate with MC team to ensure Mechanical equipment are properly scoped in PIMS for MC close out Assist Contractor in arranging condition assessment inspections with AIP operations team and OEM as needed Work with AIP Regulatory Compliance & Verification Lead and Contractors to define and execute compliance activities in mechanical discipline Review and comment on mechanical discipline documents from Contractors/vendors Review Mechanical design documents for operability, functionality, accessibility, maintainability, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, class, flag, and contract requirements Monitor Contractor’s Mechanical activities and deliverables for regulatory and contractual compliance, ensuring system compatibility and functionality Participate in meetings and inspections, including FAT, worldwide Contribute lessons learned to AIP Project Management Team Close assigned Technical Query (TQ) and Action Tracker items in PIMS or MOMLiaise with subcontractors/vendors at the shipyard for daily construction activities Perform other roles as required Collaborate closely with other disciplines in Project Management, calling on resources as needed to maintain quality and progress Ensure effective cooperation and communication between the base organization and the project Accountabilities Manage assigned mechanical packages during construction and commissioning Ensure activities conform to company standards, contract requirements, Project Execution Plan, and legal regulations, prioritizing health, safety, and environmental considerations Report delays or issues to the Construction Manager/Mechanical Lead Document scope changes and report accordingly Report design failures or gaps and ensure corrective actions are taken Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience Recent experience with major mechanical and rotating equipment packages Experience with Hull equipment packages Knowledge of mechanical equipment design and operations At least 15 years of relevant experience, with recent projects as Mechanical discipline engineer Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for managing multidisciplined teams Experience in Middle East/Southeast Asian shipyards is advantageous Organized, systematic, and flexible approach Fluent in English, both written and verbal Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Other Industries Oil and Gas Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Anotech by 2x Get notified about new Mechanical Engineer jobs in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.Related Jobs Mechanical Site Engineer (GCC/UAE/INDIA) - Dubai Technical Services Engineer I (Airframe/Mechanical Systems) - Dubai Estimation Engineer - Industrial Refrigeration - Dubai Turbine Design & Integrity Engineer, NMESFunctional Excellence Engineer - Recent Graduate Opportunity #J-18808-Ljbffr
