Join to apply for the Mechanical Field Engineer – Dubai role at Dovre.This position involves working as a key member of the Mechanical discipline team, interfacing with JV MC team and AIP Commissioning and operations team to ensure scope clarity and mechanical punch close-out.Responsibilities include monitoring vendor activities, ensuring proper installation and alignment of mechanical packages, coordinating with JV and Altera MC teams for scope and close-out, and supporting inspections and compliance activities.The role requires reviewing mechanical documents, ensuring regulatory compliance, participating in meetings and inspections, and liaising with subcontractors at the shipyard. Additional duties include coordinating lessons learned, closing technical queries, and supporting daily construction activities.Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience), extensive experience with mechanical and rotating equipment packages, and at least 15 years of relevant experience, including recent projects as a Mechanical discipline engineer.
