Senior Accountant

Any Arab National, Any GCC National, Indian, Filipino Any Vacancy Job Description Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in auditing to join our finance team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial audits, ensuring compliance with local and international standards, and supporting internal controls and financial reporting processes.Key Responsibilities: Lead and participate in internal and external audit assignments.Review and analyze financial statements in compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations.Prepare audit working papers, schedules, and documentation.Assist in the development and implementation of internal control policies and procedures.Conduct risk assessments and identify control weaknesses with recommendations for improvements.Coordinate with auditors (internal and external) and respond to audit findings.Support month-end and year-end close processes.Ensure compliance with VAT and other applicable UAE tax laws.Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.Mentor and guide junior accounting staff.Desired Candidate Profile Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Professional certification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.Minimum 2+ years of accounting/auditing experience, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT law, and internal auditing standards.Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Quick Books, SAP, Oracle, or similar).Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Salary & Benefits: Competitive salary (commensurate with experience)Annual leave and end-of-service benefits as per UAE labor law Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
