Join to apply for the Digital Marketing Specialist role at The American University in the Emirates (AUE)Join to apply for the Digital Marketing Specialist role at The American University in the Emirates (AUE)The American University in the Emirates is searching for a Digital Marketing Specialist who will be expected to guide the American University in the Emirates (AUE) in setting and implementing Digital Campaigns that consist of digital strategy consulting, digital campaigns setup, management and optimization, and SEO consulting.Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record in strategy development, campaign execution, and optimization.Strong expertise in Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and other relevant platforms.Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog).Experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking tools.Skills / Training / Knowledge Deep understanding of full-funnel marketing and user behavior analysis.Strong project management and communication skills.Strategic thinking and analytical skills.Collaborative approach with strong consensus-building ability.Attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.Strong reporting and data interpretation capabilities.Job Description Digital Strategy Consulting Provide strategic advice on user acquisition and growth.Assist in identifying and segmenting target user bases.Advise on optimal digital channels and advertising platforms.Digital Campaign Management Set up, manage, and optimize campaigns on platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Google, Snapchat, Telegram, Twitter, Linked In, You Tube, and Tik Tok.Develop and execute comprehensive user journey strategies, including full-funnel marketing, custom audience targeting, lookalike audience scaling, and retargeting.Ensure high-quality lead generation and maximize return on ad spend (ROAS).Google Ads Campaign Optimization Conduct ongoing keyword optimization and strategic analysis.Manage audience targeting and segmentation.Utilize a variety of ad formats including Search, Display, Video, and Discovery.Optimize bidding strategies, click-through rates (CTR), and ad relevance.Conduct conversion rate optimization and provide performance reports.Website Analytics Strategy Advise on the digital aspects of the university’s new website build to ensure alignment with best practices.Oversee implementation and optimization of Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel, and Google Analytics 4.Set up event tracking, custom segments, and audience reporting.Integrate Google Search Console and provide regular analytics performance reports.SEO Consulting Perform crawlability and indexability audits.Analyze site performance, including Core Web Vitals.Improve internal linking and canonicalization.Conduct keyword research and map keywords to target pages.Audit and monitor the university’s backlink profile for harmful/toxic links.About American University in the Emirates (AUE): The American University in the Emirates (AUE) invites applications from well-qualified candidates for a range of faculty and administrative positions.
