We are recruiting for an Accountant - SAP Expert to join our team in Dubai. The role reports to Head of Accounting and Controlling, and is for a period of 6 months temporary assignment. The Role The Accountant - SAP Expert will support the successful deployment of SAP solutions with a focus on technical expertise in accounting, transactional processes, testing, and project management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions Responsibilities SAP Implementation Lead and support SAP implementation projects, including planning, design, configuration, testing, and deployment. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions. Provide technical expertise in SAP modules related to accounting and transactional processes. Accounting and Transactional Support Ensure accurate configuration and integration of SAP modules for accounting and transactional activities. Assist in streamlining financial processes and improving data accuracy within SAP systems. Support end-users in resolving issues related to accounting and transactional processes. Testing and Quality Assurance Develop and execute test plans to ensure the functionality and reliability of SAP solutions. Identify and resolve defects and issues during testing phases. Collaborate with teams to conduct user acceptance testing and ensure successful project delivery Project Management Plan, monitor, and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. Facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration. Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders. Qualification Bachelor's Degree (preferred, not a must) in Accounting, Finance, Banking or related field Experience and Skills 3 - 5 years of experience in accounting with SAP Experience in Big4/Consulting or Financial services industry is preferred Technical Expertise in SAP - Proficiency in SAP modules related to accounting and transactional processes, with the ability to configure, customize, and integrate solutions effectively.
