Job Description Responsible for scheduling, execution, and quality control of approval/schematic, detailed & IFC design & drawing packages. Responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining DWG registers for review by designers & project managers. Work alongside senior/designated designers, conduct site visits to ascertain IFC conditions, organize surveys with site teams, and represent the technical team at client meetings as required. Pursue personal skill development by researching correct details, overseeing technical problem solving, and raising concerns, queries, or solutions to designers and/or clients via workshops and RFIs for consideration & implementation within a project. Conduct quality control over deliverables developed by reporting draughtsmen and contribute to fostering a positive, productive, and ambitious design studio. Nurture talent and encourage proactive, inquisitive, and positive approaches to technical work within sub-teams. Contribute to the improvement and development of technical engineering processes within the organization. Act as role models for the technical design team, setting standards for delivery, communication, and responsibility for their work. Coordinate with architects and designers to develop and finalize design concepts. Facilitate design presentations and reviews with project stakeholders. Address and resolve design-related issues and challenges. Maintain accurate documentation of design changes and updates. Ensure adherence to design standards and specifications. Prepare logs and manage projects from start to finish, working on multiple projects and managing Draughtsman Subcontractors. Skills Ensure timely delivery of design drawings, schedules, and documents in line with project timelines and submission dates. Flexibility to work overtime and on-site if required. A driving license is necessary.
