Warehouse Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations for a leading e-commerce client. This role involves managing daily activities, leading a team, optimizing processes, and ensuring smooth and efficient operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, a hands-on approach to problem-solving, and expertise in warehouse and inventory management.Responsibilities Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, and inventory processes.Ensure timely and accurate order processing to meet delivery SLAs.Monitor warehouse productivity and ensure operational efficiency.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and resolve bottlenecks.Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and stock audits.Ensure timely replenishment of stock while minimizing shortages and overstocking.Identify and address discrepancies in inventory, implementing corrective measures.Team Management: Supervise, lead, and mentor warehouse staff, including pickers, packers, and loaders.Develop shift schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels for all operations.Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, review performance, and address challenges.Provide training to team members on warehouse processes, safety protocols, and productivity standards.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to maximize team performance and engagement.Quality Assurance: Ensure all outgoing shipments meet quality and accuracy standards.Monitor and address issues related to damaged or incorrect shipments.Implement and maintain quality control measures across warehouse processes.Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce compliance with workplace safety protocols and guidelines.Conduct regular safety inspections and address potential hazards.Promote a culture of safety awareness among warehouse staff.Reporting & Performance Tracking: Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on warehouse performance metrics.Track KPIs such as order accuracy, inventory accuracy, and on-time processing.Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred).3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision, preferably in e-commerce or logistics.Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and MS Office tools, especially Excel.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Experience in managing inventory control and order fulfillment processes.Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Sign up today for tips, the latest news, and exclusive offers. #J-18808-Ljbffr
