Industry: Real Estate / Construction Certifications: CPA / ACCA / CMA preferred Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join a dynamic real estate development company in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project accounting, financial reporting under IFRS, and UAE-specific taxation (VAT & Corporate Tax). Fluency in Russian and English is essential.Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Month-End Close Prepare timely and accurate financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual).Manage general ledger activities, accruals, and intercompany reconciliations.Conduct variance analysis and assist in strategic decision-making.Consolidate financials across multiple entities and jurisdictions.Budgeting & Forecasting Lead annual budgeting processes and create detailed project financial models.Track actuals vs. budget and recommend corrective measures.Manage cash flow forecasts for real estate developments.Taxation & Compliance Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax laws.Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.Support tax planning and identify opportunities for savings.Project Accounting Monitor costs and ensure correct capitalization and allocation.Handle accounting for billing, retention, and advances.Work closely with project managers to ensure financial health of projects.Internal Controls & ERP Optimization Strengthen internal financial controls and reporting accuracy.Improve and maintain ERP systems (Oracle, Yardi, SAP).Streamline accounting procedures for better efficiency.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).CPA, ACCA, or CMA (preferred).Minimum 3 years experience in UAE real estate or construction sector.Strong proficiency in Excel, ERP platforms, and financial modeling.Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to connect jobseekers & employers.
