Senior Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to support the finance & accounts function of the business by ensuring accurate input for various incomes and expenses to ensure error-free accounting reports that indicate the financial health of the company in the region of operations as per the parameters set by the prescribed standards of the company within safe working parameters with a previous background in Marine Dredging and Construction Industry.Responsibilities: Ability to ensure accurate data input in the system for the various financial entries such as payables, receivables, expense vouchers, payroll, and other modules.Record and maintain accurate up-to-date financial records for the organization.Payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payment to employees.Prepare cash flow and ensure the organization's liquidity requirements are effectively managed.Month-end closing to ensure all accounting entries are entered, processed, reconciled including Bank reconciliation statement.Prepare regular financial statements & reporting, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Monitor and analyze organization's budgets and financial forecasts.Stay current with accounting standards, financial regulations, and reporting requirements in the UAE.Ideal Candidate Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in commerce or finance with post-graduation qualification, M. Com, being desirable but not mandatory. Any other related training will be preferred.Minimum Experience: 06 to 10 years of accounting proven experience, preferably within Marine/Manufacturing industries of a similar nature of business and must have exposure to most aspects of accounting processes.(Mandatory) Experience with Export/Import procedures: LC related processes and paperwork understanding of large machineries.Generic Skills: Should be fluent in English and must be able to write reports and observations.
