The NOC Engineer will coordinate with authorities on all NOC applications during various design stages.Key responsibilities include: Obtaining permits and NOCs in UAECoordinating with local authorities for project-related NOCs and building permits Processing company registrations with authorities and service providers Attending meetings and supporting construction NOC processes Preparing and submitting NOC applications, ensuring compliance to reduce re-submissions Managing drawings with the technical team Collecting information, designing NOCs, updating GIS, and preparing As-Built drawings Following up with municipalities, DM, RTA, and stakeholders for design NOCs and reviewing pipeline proposals Consulting with clients and engineering teams, conducting research, analyzing survey data, and preparing reports Preparing contract documents and evaluating tenders Collaborating with team members and liaising with external consultants/sub-contractors Adhering to safety, quality, and health policies Designing for safety and managing client/stakeholder relationships Organizing meetings, collecting data, and discussing technical solutions Performing other duties as required Competencies Strong client service skills and relationship management Ability to analyze and mitigate project issues Attention to detail and workflow understanding Flexibility and proactive approach to work and hours Experience coordinating with UAE government authorities Proficiency in Arabic and English (preferred Arabic skills)Capability to handle a heavy workload with decision-making skills Teamwork, responsibility, and punctuality Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized university1-2 years of experience in large-scale wet infrastructure projects UAE National (required)Knowledge of Auto CAD, Micro Station, etc.About Stantec We are community-focused, design-driven, and collaborative, with approximately 22,000 employees worldwide.
