The Tax Manager will be responsible for managing the company's tax compliance for the group and for our UAE tax group. This role requires a deep understanding of international tax regulations and the ability to apply them to optimize the company's tax position. The Tax Manager will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns and compliance with all applicable tax laws.What you will do Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations. Prepare and file accurate tax returns and manage audits and inquiries from tax authorities.Tax Planning: Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize the company's tax position. Provide tax advice on business transactions and corporate structuring.Tax Reporting: Oversee the preparation of tax provisions and disclosures for financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of tax-related information.Direct and Indirect Taxes: Handle direct and indirect tax strategies to optimize tax efficiency.Current and Deferred Tax Assessments: Responsible for current and deferred tax assessments.Tax Assessment: Conduct tax assessments for new and existing territories and services, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.Coordination: Coordinate with tax controllers in all territories to ensure appropriate tax positions are taken and with all outsourced tax consultants.Tax Implications Analysis: Analyze the tax implications of our services in each territory and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure tax compliance of our services.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate tax risks. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company.Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team, legal department, and external advisors to ensure integrated and comprehensive tax management.Documentation: Maintain thorough and organized documentation of all tax-related activities and decisions.What you will bring Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, preferably within a corporate environment with an international tax background.
