Designer – Electrical

We share strong Nordic Engineering heritage of high quality and frontline innovations.We are now looking for Designer – Electrical to be a part of Rejlers Team in Offshore/Onshore Oil & Gas Projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE.Responsibilities and Duties To assist Engineers / Design Manager / Discipline Manager for the engineering design of the project.Ensure verification of source data, site visit, concept drawings / concepts as required.Prepare and finalize the engineering document deliverable register (EDDR) in coordination with all relevant department / discipline, submission date as per Client / Contract requirements.Preparation of all Electrical related design deliverables through MS-office, Smart plant tools (SP3D, SPEL), AUTOCAD, NAVIS, Micro-station, PDS, PDMS, Aveva E3D, etc.Review of design document, drawings, etc. issued by various discipline, design subcontractor and ensure Client requirements.Review meetings (3 D modelling, plot plan review, Constructability study)Proficiency in Dia Lux and Cable Sizing software.Responsible to ensure approval of all submitted documents and drawings and necessary coordination with Client.Overall responsible for inter discipline coordination, submission of necessary design documents/ deliverables and procedures to the Client.Preparation of Material Take Off.Ensure compliance to Laws and Statutory Regulations, Authority, Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Requirements for the project.Responsible to ensure unclear issues are resolved with Client through technical query in coordination with inter discipline leads, managers.Coordinate for the preparation of as-built.Take responsibility for Quality, Health Safety, Energy and Environmental.Preferred Skills & Requirements UAE local experience is added value.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Fluent in the English language.Shares the company values of teamwork, transparency, honesty, and equality.Team player, hardworking, problem solver, and have a can-do attitude.Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 8-10 years minimum Oil & Gas experience.Good verbal as well written communication skills, leadership and coordination, analytic and pro-active approach competence in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Chemical Industries.Knowledge of industry-specific software, such as Auto CAD, Navisworks, and other computer-aided design tools. #J-18808-Ljbffr
