Job Level: Highly experienced professional (10 - 15 years)Archirodon, having earned its reputation as a reliable and respected international contractor for more than a half century in the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) market, continues to create value for its stakeholders by executing complex EPC projects worldwide, in recognition of its superior standards of performance.We have an outstanding record in completing major Energy (Oil & Gas – Power and Water), Marine, Infrastructure and Defense & Security projects around the globe and we pride ourselves on delivering over the years the kind of reliability and trust that the client has the right to expect from a major EPC contractor.Archirodon has been awarded a major Oil & Gas EPC project in UAE, and is currently building a team of experienced Lead Engineers, who will be based in our UAE office and lead the multidiscipline Engineering of the project.Project includes the detailed engineering and design, quality assurance and control, procurement/supply, interface management, construction/installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning/start-up of Hydrocarbon & non-Hydrocarbon systems and management including all works required for the job completion. The main objective of this brownfield project is to increase the production handling capacity by adding a new Production Train and associated facilities at an existing Central Degassing Station and a new gas lift compressor train at another existing Central Degassing Station.Role Summary: Lead the design, development, and integration of electrical systems for oil & gas projects, focusing on rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines).Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEC, NEC, IEEE, API) for electrical systems design.Develop and review electrical design deliverables, including Single Line Diagrams (SLD), cable sizing, grounding systems, and protection schemes.Oversee the preparation and review of technical specifications, datasheets, and equipment selection.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, instrumentation, process) to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.Provide technical support during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.Lead and mentor junior engineers, fostering their technical growth and ensuring quality standards are met.Conduct detailed technical evaluations of vendor documents, equipment bids, and submittals.Manage the electrical system design process to ensure the completion of projects within the required budget and timeline.Review and approve electrical drawings and design documents, ensuring alignment with client requirements.Participate in risk analysis, HAZOP studies, and other safety and design reviews.What you will need to have: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.15 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects, with a focus on rotating equipment.Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage multi-disciplinary engineering teams.Previous experience in EPC projects is mandatory.Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) – spoken and written.Excellent English communication skills – spoken and written.You are someone who: Displays excellent interpersonal and communication skills Can be counted on to achieve goals within schedule, demonstrating a fighting spirit and perseverance Is keen to learn and professionally grow Is flexible and eager to take initiatives Demonstrates sound Project Management Skills Is effective at solving problems, troubleshooting and making timely decisions Displays a team spirit, particularly in a multicultural environment Is commercially astute What’s in it for you: Professional Growth, Challenging Projects, Collaborative Environment, Competitive Compensation Competitive salary and benefits are part of the offering, yet the real joy comes from being a member of smart and passionate teams within an international leading EPC group that supports impactful local communities’ mega infrastructure development projects - literally around the globe - and encompasses a productive and human-centric culture caring for its people and their development!Please note that you will be contacted only if you are shortlisted for an interview.
