Group Head of Tax

Abu Dhabi Capital Group (ADCG) is one of MENA’s largest institutional investment groups, delivering transformative impact through partnerships across a diversified global portfolio spanning multiple asset classes, industries, and geographies.Job Brief : We are seeking an experienced and motivated Group Head of Tax to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves supporting ADCG’s companies with expertise in VAT, CIT, and International Tax, including managing the implementation of UAE CIT.The responsibilities include managing direct and indirect tax functions, ensuring compliance, developing tax strategies, and managing tax-related litigation. The role also involves proactive tax planning and identifying tax savings opportunities.Key Responsibilities : Ensure compliance with CIT, VAT, and International Tax regulations.Provide internal tax advisory services to support business operations.Plan and project tax obligations annually in line with business plans.Implement policies, processes, and procedures for consistent work execution.Develop and execute tax planning strategies to optimize tax efficiency.Lead compliance with OECD BEPS 2.0 standards.Collaborate with legal, finance, and other departments to align structures and policies.Serve as the subject matter expert on international tax matters.Establish systems for tax risk management.Support subsidiaries and joint ventures with tax compliance and filings.Liaise with tax authorities, manage audits, and handle queries.Review tax provisions and stay updated on regulatory changes.Coordinate tax initiatives regionally and locally.Improve systems and processes, supporting change management.Prepare accurate reports for tax compliance and management.Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.Professional certification (ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).CPA or CA qualification with ongoing professional development.At least 10 years of experience in taxation, preferably in large groups or family offices.Strong collaboration skills and a focus on long-term company building.Experience implementing finance technology solutions.High integrity, dependability, and results-oriented mindset.Seniority level: Director Employment type: Full-time Job function: Accounting / Auditing / Investment Management #J-18808-Ljbffr
