MEP Engineer
Description
To execute the construction of the project within the MEP discipline in compliance with contractual requirements, ensuring timely delivery within allocated budget while upholding the company’s quality and HSE standards to achieve maximum client satisfaction.Key Responsibilities: Supervise project resources including labor, materials, and equipment to ensure optimal performance within project schedule and budget.Prepare and submit necessary documentation such as Method Statements, ITPs, Risk Assessments, and QA/QC Plans.Ensure availability and compliance with the latest approved drawings, materials, method statements, and work schedules.Attend project coordination, technical, and progress meetings with clients, contractors, and consultants.Maintain day-to-day communication with subcontractors and suppliers.Review daily site reports from engineers and supervisors; prepare weekly productivity reports and implement corrective actions where necessary.Monitor site activities to ensure alignment with contract specifications, drawings, and approved method statements.Address and close non-conformities through coordination with QA/QC and HSE teams, implementing timely corrective and preventive measures.Prepare material and equipment requisitions in line with technical specifications, cost allowance, and budgeted quantities.Coordinate inspections with main contractors, consultants, and relevant authorities in accordance with inspection and test plans.Notify management of any project changes that could impact cost or schedule and assist in formulating claim management strategies.Coordinate with relevant authorities including Municipalities, Local Authorities, and JAFZA for inspections and approvals.Ensure all site works comply with company and municipality safety standards and procedures.For major projects, coordinate closely with the Senior Projects Engineer on operational activities.Desired Candidate Profile Must hold valid ADM approval.Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in swimming pool and aquascape construction projects (preferred).Strong knowledge of MEP systems related to swimming pools.Proficient in technical documentation and site reporting.Experience in managing subcontractors and suppliers.Familiar with local authority regulations and inspection procedures.Strong communication and coordination skills.Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
