Senior Lighting Professional

Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Lighting Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lighting theory, technology, and energy efficiency standards.The successful candidate will work collaboratively with architects, interior designers, engineers, and project managers to integrate lighting design into real estate projects from concept to completion.Liaise with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality lighting designs that meet project goals and client expectations.Develop creative and sustainable lighting concepts that align with the client's vision, project requirements, and energy efficiency standards.Select and specify appropriate lighting fixtures, control systems, and technologies to meet project goals, aesthetic preferences, and budget.Perform detailed lighting calculations, including lux levels, glare control, and energy consumption, to ensure optimal lighting solutions.Prepare lighting plans, layouts, schematics, and lighting control system diagrams.Review project specifications and provide recommendations to ensure the lighting design is feasible and aligns with the overall architectural and design concepts.Conduct lighting mock-ups and coordinate with contractors/suppliers to ensure the proper installation of lighting systems.Stay up to date with emerging lighting technologies, trends, and sustainability practices to apply innovative solutions to each project.Work with the construction team to oversee the proper execution of lighting design during the construction and installation phases.Provide post-installation support to troubleshoot and resolve any lighting-related issues.Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.At least 5 years of experience in lighting design (interior and exterior) for real estate development, architecture, or related industries.Strong understanding of lighting theory, technology, and energy efficiency standards.Proficiency in lighting design software (e.g., DIALux, AGi32, Revit, Auto CAD).Experience with sustainable design practices and familiarity with LEED or other green building standards.Knowledge of lighting control systems and automation technologies.Strong communication skills with the ability to present and explain design concepts to clients, project teams, and contractors.Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.Creative problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.What We Offer We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment that encourages innovation and collaboration.
