Job Title: Chiller Systems Specialist Description: We are seeking an experienced Chiller Systems Specialist to join our team. As a Chiller Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial and commercial chillers. Your primary goal will be to ensure the efficient operation of chilling systems in various settings, including factories, hospitals, and commercial buildings.To achieve this objective, you must possess a strong understanding of HVAC systems, refrigerants, and mechanical components. You should be adept at diagnosing complex issues, ruling out potential problems, and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and optimize performance. Good communication skills are also essential, as you will frequently interact with clients to provide technical support and advice on system improvements.Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair industrial and commercial chiller systems efficiently.Diagnose complex issues and recommend effective solutions for chiller malfunctions.Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure chillers operate efficiently.Monitor system performance and adjust settings to optimize energy usage.Ensure compliance with safety standards and refrigeration regulations at all times.Inspect electrical and mechanical components for wear and repair as needed.Prepare detailed service reports to document inspections and service activities.Provide technical support and end-user training to clients when necessary.Collaborate with other service technicians to troubleshoot large systems.Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent with technical training preferred.Minimum of three years experience in HVAC or refrigeration field.Strong understanding of industrial/commercial chiller systems is necessary.Hold a current EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification for compliance.Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical diagrams and manuals.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various environments.Excellent problem-solving skills and capability to make prompt decisions.
