Job Description We are seeking an experienced Landscape Resident Engineer to join our team.This role involves providing necessary assistance with landscape and irrigation networks related works, including design review and construction supervision under the guidance of the PMC Team Leader.Key Responsibilities: Extensive knowledge in softscape & hardscape items with their requirements.Reviewing landscape, hardscape and irrigation networks technical design packages and providing comments.Reviewing and commenting on landscape, hardscape and irrigation network Engineering submittals.Preparing reports, manuals and guideline documents regarding specific landscape & hardscape issues as required by the client.Supporting the Construction Supervision team and overseeing landscape & hardscape construction services as a client representative.Liaising with Landscape & hardscape Design Consultants and Contractors.Coordinating with other relevant disciplines like Engineers, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, Architects etc.Attending weekly/monthly meetings regarding landscape and HSSE issues.Liaising with Key Stakeholders for a smooth handover of Landscape & hardscape assets upon project completion.Providing landscape & hardscape input to weekly/monthly reports.Ensuring timely review of all documents submitted by the Consultant and/or Contractor.Informing the Landscape Design Architect and/or Team Leader about potential delays in project completion or milestones.Participating in site safety training and complying with all site safety protocols.Providing necessary on-site direction and assisting the Construction Manager in issuing site instructions for Landscape & hardscape, irrigation and associated items.Checking and measuring performed work in line of responsibility, recording and helping the Team Leader to display progress vs programmed work.Ensuring correctness and completeness of As-Built drawings within line of responsibility.Conducting site inspections and providing measures to improve the aesthetics of the site and Landscape & hardscape works.Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Agriculture/Architecture Engineering or equivalent. Possessing an Equivalency certificate issued from the Ministry of Education (UAE) is mandatory.Minimum 10 years of work experience in construction, operation, and maintenance of parks and landscape projects.Proficiency in hardscape detailing such as design and specifications for all external finishes, level changes, walls, minor structures, drainage, water features etc.Proficiency in softscape & hardscape detailing such as design and specification of all plant materials, planting medium, preparation of the site, contours & grading and control of all horticultural practices for installation works.GCC experience is preferable.Equivalency certificate is a must.Arabic speaker is preferable.Parsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
