Description
A Group, Conference and Events Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team to maximize revenue opportunities. They will interact with customers and guests to understand their needs and develop relationships that lead to repeat and expanded business.The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of tasks including reviewing business plans, identifying gaps, and implementing proactive efforts to fill capacity and meet set targets.They will also contribute to the selling strategy of the hotel and manage the departments' adherence to achieving that strategy.The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve high levels of performance and exceed targets. They will also possess strong analytical skills to understand key business indicators and competitive trends, as well as excellent selling capability and an ability to coach selling techniques to their team.Skill Requirements Demonstrated previous managerial or supervisory experience in a Reservations and/or Conference and Events Sales function Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions Excellent customer service skills Flexibility to work under pressure Hilton Hotels & Resorts is a leading hospitality company dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences.
