Swimming Safety Specialist

The role of a Pool and Beach Lifeguard is to ensure the safety of guests within designated swimming areas.Job Description: This position requires individuals to safeguard guests in pool and beach environments during operating hours.Responsibilities: Maintain safety equipment at beaches/pools, including life-saving devices, flag placement, rescue surfboard/boat readiness, first aid kits, and posting relevant information (business hours, water & air temperatures, wind force & speed).Ensure swimmers are out of hazardous boat tracks or areas.Supervise water sports activities, log guest participation, and monitor water activities.Respond to emergencies within hotel resort swimming areas, ensuring rescue boats are available at all times.Enforce water and pool activities compliance with security and safety regulations.Perform other duties as assigned.Key Qualifications: Life Guard certification and authorization to conduct AR and CPR.First Aid Training.Pool & Beach Access.Benefits: Prompt and courteous service delivery.Maintenance of a positive guest experience and cleanliness standards.Staff motivation and training.Revenue management and control procedures.Maintenance of a safe and sanitary environment for guests and staff.Other Requirements: Uniform standard adherence by staff.Repair and maintenance programs oversight.Associate relations and performance management.Communication and disciplinary procedure implementation.Incentive program suggestions and operational improvements identification.Work Environment: No remote work option.Employment Type: Fulltime employment opportunity.
