Job Summary This role oversees the coordination of equipment and labour resources to support event execution. The position is responsible for implementing strategies that enhance product utilisation, increase capacity, and drive results by ensuring the optimal use of company assets.Foster a collaborative environment across teams to achieve shared objectives.Drive operational excellence through effective equipment management, labour allocation, and vendor relations.Develop and implement processes to better utilise existing workforce, reduce overall labour costs, and enhance customer service.Prioritise tasks under pressure and adapt to changing business demands.Key Responsibilities Equipment Management: Implement company-developed strategies to improve product utilisation and increase capacity.Ensure the optimal use of company-owned assets, focusing on decreasing external/sub-hire costs.Gather equipment shortage data, review associated events, and source equipment from internal locations to meet needs.Labour Coordination: Coordinate central personnel to ensure labour sharing between divisions, including technical skill identification, scheduling, and timekeeping.Recommend central personnel based on business needs.Review financial details and equipment of the region to support informed decision-making.Customer Service & Reporting: Deliver exceptional customer service by hosting regular calls and meetings with venue leadership teams.Develop strong relationships with venue managers to provide support for internal and external events.Provide regular reports to stakeholders to ensure labour targets are met and assist in developing long-term strategies for maximising labour usage.Required Skills & Qualifications• 3+ years experience in an equipment/labour coordinator role within the audio-visual or related service industry preferred.• 2+ years of administrative and customer service experience, preferred.• Strong written and oral communication skills• Strong technical background• Strong client relationship skills• Operational logistics experience• Ability to multitask• MS Office experience Disclaimer: The duties and responsibilities described are not exhaustive and may change or additional tasks within scope of work may be assigned at any time with or without notice, as necessitated by business demands.
