Senior Financial Strategist

Job Title: Financial Strategist About the Role: The Finance Strategist plays a crucial role in guiding our organization's financial health and strategy. As a senior leadership position, this role is responsible for overseeing financial management, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance. Key responsibilities include managing budgets, preparing financial statements, and conducting financial analysis to inform strategic decisions.Key Responsibilities: Develop, manage, and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Oversee general ledger activities, reconciliations, and closing processes, maintaining financial integrity.Conduct thorough financial analysis to guide strategic decisions, identify growth opportunities, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Monitor daily cash positions, managing banking relationships to optimize liquidity.Ensure sufficient funds for operational needs and investment activities, implementing effective cash management strategies.Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and standards, ensuring accurate and timely filing of tax returns and compliance with UAE laws.Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless compliance.Leadership & Stakeholder Support: Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting skill development and performance excellence.Collaborate with department heads to align budgets and spending with organizational goals, providing financial insights and reports for informed decision-making.Internal Controls & Governance: Implement and monitor robust internal controls to protect company assets, ensuring risk mitigation and compliance with corporate governance practices.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or ACCA preferred).5–8 years of progressive experience in finance roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity (UAE experience beneficial).Advanced knowledge of financial management systems and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Quick Books).Strong understanding of IFRS, UAE tax laws, and corporate compliance standards.High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.We offer: A dynamic work environment that fosters growth and collaboration.
