The position of MEP Site Engineer is a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works on retail fit-out sites. This engineer will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of MEP installation, testing, and commissioning to guarantee compliance with approved designs, local authority regulations, and project timelines."

Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems to ensure seamless integration and adherence to project specifications.Review and validate shop drawings to guarantee alignment with approved MEP designs and architectural layouts.Monitor and enforce compliance with project specifications and industry guidelines, including DEWA, SEWA, ADDC, and Dubai Municipality regulations.Coordinate with project managers, interior designers, civil engineers, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and ensure effective project delivery.Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and quality of MEP installations and identify areas for improvement.Prepare and maintain accurate records of materials used, manpower deployment, and inspection logs to support project documentation and reporting.Assist in the preparation of as-built documentation and red-marked drawings to facilitate future project references.Ensure that all MEP works adhere to relevant UAE codes and statutory regulations, and report any safety incidents or non-conformities on site.Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering from a recognized institution.A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in MEP installation and design coordination within retail fit-out or interior projects in the UAE.Strong knowledge of local authority approvals (DEWA, Civil Defence, DCD, etc.).Familiarity with HVAC, fire fighting, fire alarm, LV/ELV systems, and plumbing systems, including design principles and implementation methods.Proficiency in Auto CAD, MS Office, and project documentation tools to support efficient data management and communication.UAE driving license preferred.Strong technical knowledge in MEP systems, with the ability to interpret drawings and resolve technical conflicts.Effective communication and leadership skills to manage time efficiently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Ability to solve complex problems with attention to detail and provide innovative solutions to support project success.Benefits This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of high-profile retail fit-out projects in the UAE.Opportunities for professional growth and development in a rapidly evolving industry.A collaborative work environment that fosters open communication and teamwork.Seniority level: Associate, Employment type: Full-time, Job function: Engineering, Design, and Project Management, Industries: Engineering Services, Construction, and Retail
