This senior-level culinary professional will oversee kitchen operations, direct a team of chefs, and ensure seamless service delivery. The ideal candidate has 5 years of experience in upscale hotel or cruise ship settings and a culinary school degree.Responsibilities: Directs, coaches, supports, supervises, and evaluates all direct reports.Maintains high standards for food quality and consistency.Coordinates and supervises team members, assigns tasks, and ensures timely completion.Reviews recipes daily, maintains recipe folders, and recommends improvements.Oversees main kitchen sections, including sauce, entremetier, fish, roast, outlet CDP, tournant, and cold kitchen.Maintains Public Health compliance and HACCP program accuracy.Reports for duty at assigned times and adheres to company rules and regulations.Qualifications and Education: A minimum of 5 years in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship, or convention banqueting service.Culinary school degree required.Strong management skills in multicultural and dynamic environments.Excellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.Superior customer service, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills.Knowledge of personalized services, needs assessment techniques, quality service standards, alternative delivery systems, and guest satisfaction evaluation techniques.Intermediate computer software skills required.Basic accounting principles understanding, including numbering flow, debits/credits, adjusting entries, and corrections.Ability to write reports and business correspondence.Benefits: Mid-senior level position with opportunities for growth and development.Contract employment type.Product Management and Production job function.Travel Arrangements, Hospitality, and Food and Beverage Services industries.Referrals increase your chances of interviewing by 2x.
