About the Job: We are seeking an ambitious and skilled Junior Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team in a 5-star luxury property. As a key member of the Main Kitchen, you will be responsible for assisting the Sous Chef in supervising kitchen staff and maintaining high cooking standards. Liaise with Executive Sous Chef to plan menus, create recipes and test their feasibility. Write accurate product specifications and standard recipes for system use. Help plan weekly staff rosters, monitor daily adjustments and manage overtime, holidays and absenteeism. Support Chief Steward to maintain kitchen cleanliness and optimize resources. About You: The ideal candidate will have two years of experience in a similar role in a luxury property or a standalone restaurant. A Diploma in Catering is required, while Health & Safety certification is preferred. Fluency in English, both oral and written, is essential, as well as strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Opera PMS (Cloud) and Hot So S.
