Inventory Optimization Specialist

Job Title: Inventory Optimizer Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Inventory Optimizer to join our team. This role will be responsible for driving sales and profitability through effective inventory management, planning, and forecasting.The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and strategic skills, with proficiency in planning tools such as Blue Yonder or similar.Key Responsibilities Develop sales plans and on-time budget (OTB) by collaborating with buying, finance, retail, and e-commerce teams.Manage monthly sales and stock intake plans to optimize stock levels.Forecast and re-forecast sales based on performance and market trends.Conduct margin analysis to identify profitability improvements.Collaborate on seasonal markdown strategies to maximize sales and margins.Monitor and manage OTB for budget and inventory control.Support inventory management, including stock tracking and replenishment.Address aging stock and improve liquidation processes.Requirements2+ years of experience in merchandise and supply planning within retail, beauty, fashion, or FMCG.Proficiency in planning tools like Blue Yonder or similar.Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.Strong analytical and strategic skills for inventory optimization.Understanding of OTB planning, inventory management, and markdown strategies.What We Offer We offer enriching experiences, learning opportunities, and diverse career paths.
