This role requires expertise in managing international logistics, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving cost-effective supply chain operations in the fast-paced FMCG sector.Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including international shipping, customs clearance, and warehousing for tobacco products.Optimize distribution routes and transportation strategiesto reduce costs and improve delivery efficiency using WMS/TMS tools.Ensure compliancewith international trade regulations, customs procedures, and industry-specific laws for tobacco distribution.Lead inventory control initiativesto maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste across warehouses.Negotiate contractswith carriers, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers to secure favorable terms.Analyze logistics performance metrics(e.g., delivery times, freight costs) and implement data-driven improvements.Resolve operational challengespromptly, such as delays or customs issues, to maintain seamless distribution.Desired Candidate Profile Experience Required: 3–5 years in logistics/supply chain management, preferably in FMCG/tobacco or related industries.Proven experience managing large-scale distribution networks, including international shipping and customs procedures.Hands-on expertise with WMS and TMSsystems.Skills for Success: Strong grasp of logistics principles (inventory control, transportation planning, warehousing).Excellent analytical skills to identify cost-saving opportunities and route optimizations.In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.Ability to thrive under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Certifications in supply chain management are a plus.Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
