Senior EPC Cost Manager

The Principal EPC Estimator plays a pivotal role in handling medium and small EPC estimates with no supervision, as well as large estimates exceeding $100MM with minimal guidance.This position requires exceptional proficiency in estimating practices, alongside an extensive understanding of the discipline.Key Responsibilities Lead customer open book estimate reviews Manage precontract budgets up to $250KPrepare commercial proposals by collaborating with operations, engineering, supply chain, and fabrication groups Develop estimates based on standards, closeout data, and scope of work Create estimating tools, procedures, and guidelines Evaluate new techniques and software for recommending to leadership Maintain databases of pricing structures for accurate estimates Analyze scope documents, including specifications, drawings, bills of material, and historical data for calculating project costs Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience At least 15 years of relevant experience, with 10+ years in an Estimating role Demonstrate prior experience estimating large, complex projects over $100MM USDProven skills in multiple major disciplines of EPC estimating and coordination with technical personnel Proficiency in MS Office product suite, with expertise in Excel Experience with VBA and Power BI programming is valued Benefits and Opportunities Strong understanding of construction processes Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision Exceptional communication and presentation skills Fully comprehends project requirements and knows how to meet them About the Role This position offers a unique opportunity to develop cost-effective solutions and differentiate from competitors.
