Marine Maintenance Specialist

Marine Maintenance Specialist We are seeking a skilled Marine Maintenance Specialist to perform routine maintenance on boats, diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, and install and repair boat engines, transmissions, and other mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine mechanics and possess a passion for boats and the marine industry.Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on boats including engine tune-ups oil changes and filter replacements Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs Install and repair boat engines transmissions and other mechanical systems Conduct inspections of boats and equipment to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed Maintain a clean and organized work area Communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent customer service Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in boat mechanics Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of experience as a boat mechanic Strong knowledge of boat engines electrical systems and other mechanical systems Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently Ability to work independently and in a team environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects Valid drivers license and clean driving record Must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
