DP Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities Operate the Dynamic Positioning (DP) system according to operational requirements.Maintain the on-duty scheme in the DP control room.Ensure all DP system data are accurately recorded.Configure DP system operating parameters.Assist in performing maintenance tasks on DP equipment.Closely inspect DP system sensors, computers, and references on a regular basis.Familiarize yourself with and implement International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) requirements related to the DP system.Guarantee that the Junior DP Operator is thoroughly trained and capable of handling the DP system.Skills and Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalent education.Unrestricted Dynamic Positioning certificates.A minimum of four years of experience working on DP vessels.A strong understanding of safe practices related to DP operation.
