Job Description Scope and Objectives This position is responsible for serving food & beverages to guests according to service standards, policies, procedures, and etiquette, in line with our motto. Key Deliverables and Responsibilities Ensure correct grooming standards are followed at all times. Exceed guest satisfaction by knowing preferences and updating profiles. Maintain detailed knowledge of the restaurant menu & daily specials at all times. Be familiar with beverage service, including glasses used and appropriate garnishes. Follow up on restaurant's financial, LQA, Trust You, and Forbes targets daily. Anticipate and serve guests' requirements at all times. Follow up on daily financial targets of the area/division. Use opening and closing checklists to ensure smooth venue operations. Ensure service stations are constantly cleared and re-stocked during service. Serve and clear food and beverage items professionally and unobtrusively. Proactively present menus to guests. Feel empowered and accountable within the workplace. Keep the manager on duty updated on guest feedback for the Glitch Report. Maintain HACCP & FIFO standards as required by regional authorities. Follow hotel evacuation policies during emergencies. Attend all briefings and training sessions as instructed by management. Handle financial procedures according to finance department guidelines. Identify potential problems and anticipate guest needs, asking for assistance proactively. Perform any duties and special projects as requested by management, across departments if necessary. Report all issues and negative guest feedback properly via the glitch system. Follow care program standards and report issues through the system to maintenance.
