Your Day-to-Day As a Pastry Demi Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in delivering mouthwatering desserts and pastry creations. We are looking for a passionate and creative candidate to join our team and help elevate our offerings. Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods for all dining outlets within the hotel. Follow and execute recipes and instructions from the Chef de Partie Pastry or Executive Pastry Chef. Ensure that all desserts, pastries, and baked goods meet standards for presentation, taste, and quality. Help maintain the pastry section, ensuring it is organized, stocked, and fully equipped at all times. Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering ingredients and supplies when necessary. Assist with the preparation and creation of seasonal menu items, special events, and promotions. Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen. Assist in training and developing junior pastry team members. Contribute ideas for innovation and creativity within the pastry department. What We Need From You Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following: Previous experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or Commis Chef in pastry, preferably in a high-end hotel or restaurant environment. Strong understanding of pastry techniques, including plating, decorating, and baking. A passion for pastry, desserts, and baking arts.
