Supervise the consumption of all stewarding chemicals on a daily basis. Supervise the sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene, as well as the quality level of product and services. Ensure that all stewarding employees follow safety instructions whilst cleaning machinery. Conduct regular checks to ensure that service and kitchen operating equipment is properly cleaned. Control and document all outgoing equipment and ensure proper receiving upon return. Participate in the monthly and annual inventory and prepare payroll-related documents, prior to their submission to the Department Head. Attend all regular Food & Beverage department meetings and conduct at least one monthly meeting with stewarding employees to ensure open communication. Ensure emergency exits are always clean, obstacle-free, and easy to open from inside. What’s the role about?As Stewarding Shift Leader , you are responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all food processing facilities. Your daily responsibilities Supervise stewarding department staff. Monitor stewarding chemical usage daily. Oversee sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene, and quality of services and products. Ensure safety instructions are followed during machinery cleaning. Regularly check that equipment is properly cleaned. Manage outgoing and incoming equipment documentation. Participate in inventory and payroll processes. Attend department meetings and lead team communication. Maintain cleanliness and unobstructed access to emergency exits.
