Conduct regular inspections of fire and gas detection systems to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with safety standards. Calibrate and maintain fire and gas detection equipment, troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime and enhance system reliability. Perform functional testing of fire alarm and gas detection systems, documenting results and addressing any discrepancies immediately. Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans, ensuring all team members are trained and prepared. Desired Candidate Profile A minimum of an associate degree in fire science, engineering, or a related technical field is required for foundational knowledge. At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in fire and gas systems within industrial settings is essential to ensure immediate contribution. Experience with installation and maintenance of fire and gas detection systems in oil & gas, petrochemical, or manufacturing industries is preferred.
