Civil and Building Supervisor

**About the role**: As Civil and Building Supervisor, you will be responsible for helping us achieve the following: - Lead teams of Technicians, Masons, Plumber, Carpenter and Assistant Technicians to carry out preventive, corrective maintenance works and minor project works effectively in accordance to working procedure, safety procedures and standard best practice to complete in stipulated time as required by management for ensuring smooth operation at Airport. Responsible for the site supervision, co-ordination, inspections and takeover of works undertaken by outsourced vendors, suppliers and term contractors. - Supervise and lead a team of technician, masons, plumber, carpenter and assistant technician in all activities concerned projects and maintenance works in accordance to best standard practice and construction specification. - Optimize resources (manpower, equipment, material) usage to ensure efficient and timely completion of task or works. - Planning day to day work with monitor and track daily progress and work completed, comparing planned to actual, takes appropriates mitigating action to ensure compliance with the scheduled plan. - Review quantities of material, tools and spare part used and received during specific periods, in order to minimize wastage, shortage and inefficiency. - Able to give instructions and transfer knowledge in an efficient and effective way to co-workers to ensure minimum interruption during works performed. Qualifications **About You**: - **Without a Degree**: High School Qualification/ Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience. - **With a Degree**: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 2 years of job-related experience. - Project Management experience - Deliver Complex Civil Projects - Experience in carrying out Civil works - Managing Staff and delegation of work - Ability to supervise a team of in-house technicians and outsourced vendors. - Ability to schedule personnel under his custodial care. - Ability to prepare reports of all nature. - Good communication skills in English language and at all levels.
