Description
Oversee the installation and maintenance of facade systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to project timelines, addressing any discrepancies promptly. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve design and technical issues that may arise during construction. Manage site safety protocols, conducting risk assessments and ensuring all team members adhere to health and safety regulations. Prepare detailed reports on project status, including materials used, labor hours, and any challenges faced, to keep stakeholders informed. Coordinate the procurement of materials, ensuring timely delivery to avoid project delays and maintain budget constraints. Facilitate effective communication between all project stakeholders, ensuring clarity and collaboration at every stage of the project. Monitor environmental compliance, ensuring that all facade work adheres to local regulations and sustainability guidelines. Train and mentor junior staff and laborers on facade installation techniques and safety practices, fostering a skilled workforce. Implement quality control measures throughout the facade installation process, conducting tests and inspections as required. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is highly preferred. A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in facade construction or site supervision, with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Experience working in high-rise buildings or complex facade systems is a significant advantage. Candidates with specific experience in curtain wall systems, cladding, or glazing will be prioritized. Strong English language proficiency is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus, especially for multinational teams. Proficient in using construction management software and tools, such as Auto CAD and Microsoft Project, to streamline operations. Relevant certifications, such as OSHA safety certification or a Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) qualification, are essential.
