**Housekeeping Supervisor** **About the role** You will be responsible to coordinate and supervise execution of cleaning and housekeeping services across Qatar Airways Residential buildings owned as well as leased properties. Additionally, the role will be required to oversee and manage works executed by service providers appointed either by QR or by Building Owners as per the contractual scope of work. **Accountabilities** - Responsible for overseeing the general cleaning of apartments & Common Areas of Residential buildings leased or owned by Qatar Airways. - Responsible for overseeing of Service Providers daily/ weekly/ monthly cleaning schedule and ensuring work completion as per Qatar Airways standard and the Scope of Work prescribed in the contract. - Advise Supervisor of changes to statement of work and make changes to schedule as per operational requirements. - Visit the Qatar Airways owned or leased properties and ensure that the quality of the Cleaning Services is maintained as per Qatar Airways standards. - Implement Quality Control System through daily inspections schedules and unplanned checks. - Ensure that the personnel of Service Provider are regularly briefed about tasks, standards and protocol addressing quality and safety. - Ensure training sessions are carried out at regular intervals and keep the Service Providers abreast of the cleaning standards of Qatar Airways. - Conduct regular briefing sessions with Service Provider personnel and Qatar Airways team for addressing issues and ensuring that process are set and followed. - Ensure timely corrective measures are taken, on a need basis, to address any non-confirming situations, notify Officer or any recurrence of such issues. Qualifications **About you** Qualification: Essential - Relevant Vocational, Tertiary or Trade qualification. - Hotel Management or Housekeeping OR Diploma in Hotel Management OR Diploma or Certificate in Housekeeping. Preferred - Graduation with knowledge of Computer based learning. Work experience: minimum 4 years in the same field and same position You will possess: Essential - Command of English language. - Basic knowledge of MS excel, Word, Outlook is essential. - Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members. - Written & spoken communication skills for teaching, mentoring and extracting cleaning related works from untrained workers of various nationalities. **Be part of an extraordinary story** Your skills.
