Linux Administrator - Weblogic

Nair Systems is currently looking for Linux Administrator for our Qatar operations with the following terms & conditions. Required Experience: - Minimum 6 years of proven work experience as a Linux Engineer/Administrator. - Minimum 3 years of experience on Containerization technologies. - Working knowledge of event, incident & problem management processes and tools. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE Required Qualifications: - BS degree in Computer Science. Similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience. - Certified Linux Administrator. Optional Qualification - Any IT/Cloud Architect Certification - Kubernetes/Openshift Certification. - ITIL Certification PROFESSIONAL SKILLS - Strong organizational skills - Problem solving skills - Analytical thinking - Professional behavior BEHAVIORAL SKILLS: - Excellent communication skills - Effective teamwork - Positive attitude and personal motivation KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITES Essential Functions: - Manage Bank's Linux/Solaris Infrastructure hosting 250+ Production, DR and UAT Servers. - Experience with TCP/IP & general networking principles - Manage Volume Management on UNIX systems (lvm, zfs, nfs, raid, package management, performance tuning, kernel tuning) and managing the systems to ensure meet the SLA. - Expertize with Good hands on experience in Dockers, Dockers Swarm, Kubernetes Orchestration Platform. - Well versed in latest tools and technologies to support DEVOPS methodologies and framework. - Extend support for Internal and external audits KEY COMPETENCIES - Experience to handle Redhat/Oracle Linux Operating System ( Version 7/8). - Experience in Redhat Satellite/Linux Operation Manager. - Experience in Ansible / Ansible Tower - Experience in working on containerization technologies like Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes, Redhat Openshift - Expert in Shell Scripting YAML or Python. - Knowledge on VMware Virtualization Infrastructure. - Knowledge on Enterprise Middleware Experience like Web Logic, Tomcat, JBOSS EAP, JBOSS FUSE, and Apache. - Good understanding of Load Balancing technologies (Nginx, HAproxy etc.) - Experience with TCP/IP & general networking principles. Domain: Bank Terms and conditions Joining time frame: 2 weeks (maximum 1 month) Ability to commute/relocate: - Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
