Over the years, we have partnered in delivering numerous small, medium, and mega projects across GCC and India. **Drawlines** strives to be recognized for being the most innovative BIM/CAD services and solutions provider in Qatar within the AEC industry. **Electrical Designer Responsibilities**: - Electrical Design Development: Collaborate with electrical engineers and project stakeholders to develop detailed electrical design plans, including single line diagrams, protection and metering diagrams, and interconnection diagrams. - CAD Drafting and 3D Modeling: Utilize CAD software (such as Auto CAD, E3D, EPLAN, or similar) to create precise 2D drawings and 3D models of electrical components, wiring diagrams, and loop drawings. - Lighting Design: Develop lighting layouts and design specifications for interior and exterior lighting systems. - Cable Routing: Design and layout underground (U/G) and aboveground (A/G) cable routing for power distribution and communication systems. - Substation Design: Contribute to the design of electrical substations, including layout, equipment arrangement, and earthing systems. - Material Selection: Assist in selecting appropriate electrical components, cables, and materials based on project requirements and industry standards. - Building Codes and Standards: Ensure that all electrical designs comply with relevant electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards. - Bill of Materials (BOM): Prepare comprehensive BOMs and specifications to support procurement and construction activities. - Technical Documentation: Generate detailed engineering drawings, installation instructions, and documentation to facilitate project execution. - Quality Assurance: Review and verify electrical designs for accuracy, functionality, and compliance with engineering standards and project specifications. - Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to coordinate design efforts and ensure seamless integration of electrical systems. - Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest developments in electrical design technologies, CAD & BIM tools, and industry best practices to enhance design efficiency and quality. **Electrical Designer Required Qualification**: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. - With 5+ years of experience in GCC Projects. - Proven experience as an Electrical Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous electrical design projects, including single line diagrams, protection and metering diagrams, and interconnection diagrams. - Extensive proficiency in CAD software, such as Auto CAD, E3D, Revit or similar. - In-depth knowledge of electrical design principles, power distribution, lighting systems, cable routing, and earthing systems. - Familiarity with electrical substations and their components. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work. - Effective communication skills to collaborate with engineering teams and convey design information. - Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. - Experience with building information modeling (BIM) and electrical simulation software is advantageous. **Job Types**: Full-time, Contract Contract length: 12 months Application Question(s): - Are you currently working? - Availability to join? - Total years of experience as an Electrical designer? - Do you have your own visa?
