Fit for purpose engineering design and drawing work within minimal to no re-work.Interactions and Working Relations: Internal: Section Management, Supervision and Industrial Workers. All Operations Sections in Qatar Shipyard Technology Solutions. Operations - Project Managers Purpose: To integrate and operationalize the Project Engineering and Project Management plans into Production Engineering plans, and as relevant for either Execution, Quality, Safety or Maintenance.External: Clients, Subcontractors, Service Engineers, Class Surveyors, Vendors Purpose: To communicate and hold dialogue in regard to client specifications & requirements & provide progress reports.Qualifications, Experience and Job Skills Qualifications: Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in Marine & Offshore design, preferably in shipyard, with at least 3 years of core experience in auto computer-aided design (ACAD). Knowledge of Piping 3D modelling software s, Pressure vessel design software s is preferred. Must be familiar with piping specifications of Marine & Offshore piping design, technical practices, design instructions, plot plans, flow diagrams, pipe support design.Job Specific Competencies: i.
