Essential Job Responsibilities: - Provide leadership of the day to day operations of the reception desk and guest service team - Properly open and close salon each day according to the Standard Operating Procedures - Accurately & efficiently book, change and cancel salon appointments - Acknowledge and greet everyone who enters and leaves the salon facilities - Complete knowledge of salon menu, packages, facility features and hours of operation - Utilize salon computers with skill and proficiency - Maintain salon desk bank & assure closing paperwork is correct and efficient - Answer the phone promptly and use the guest’s name throughout the phone conversation - Actively promote the salon treatments, services and retail, as well as promotions and/or discounts available - Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously - Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction - Maintain clean, safe, fully stocked and well organized work area including all guest areas. - Develop ability to work without constant direct supervision and remain at assigned post for extended periods of time - Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment - Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the salon - Assist in all areas of salon operation as requested by management - Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests that require attention
