Qc Inspector Painting / Coating
Description
**About this role** - To ensure that painting, coating, thermal insulation and passive fire protection, quality requirements are well established and implemented by the Contractor during fabrication and construction works in order to obtain formal guarantee and warranties of each paint system.o To supervise and inspect all painting and coating quality control activities following Quality Control Plan. - To participate in the risk analysis as required to ensure safe and timely execution of the works.o To support FDBN PMT team in coating document reviews.o Investigate painting/coating failures by formal COMPANY process.o Witness and monitor Contractor activities at yard and any sub-contractors facilities. - Delivers onshore construction projects, ensuring that no additional remedial work is required.o Ensures that the resources and organization from CONTRACTOR are adequate with regards to the workload related to quality control on Structural activities,o Ensures that all required inspections, audits or equipment certification required are performed in time and that all corrective action plan is properly implemented by CONTRACTOR;o Ensures the timely completion of the works and monitor closely CONTRACTOR performance, work schedule and progress;o Implements the weekly / monthly Yard progress for Quality Control aspects; - Liaises with EPCIC CONTRACTOR QA/QC Team and Certifying Authority for Control implementationo Centralizes and Maintain all the Quality documentation produced on Yard and ensure follow up and traceability,o Attend all Inspection activities as per approved ITPo Conduct Site Quality Surveillance / Monitoring and Participate to audits as required. - Ensures the readiness on due time and the compliance to COMPANY rules and procedures of all cargo to be transferred to / from sites, for all disciplines,o Ensures EPCIC CONTRACTOR personnel training and qualification compared to the activities to be performed,o Participates on request to Construction / site meetings with CONTRACTOR/SUBCONTRACTORS; **What you need to bring** - Any Graduate or Diploma in engineering with minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry projects,Should possess leadership skills and proactively identify and report potential nonconformities. - ** Painting/Coating Inspector shall be NACE / FROSIO Level 3 qualified.**: - Must be familiar and at ease with ASTM, NACE and other international ISO corrosion protection painting company standards. - Good interpersonal and communication skills. - Proficiency in English language Academic Bachelor
