With food and nightlife venues spread across eight different locations on the property, there is nothing like Mondrian Doha in the entire region. **Job Description**: **What do we expect from you?** This position is perhaps one of the most critical in a hotel as it comes under every guest’s scrutiny. Under the general guidance of the Director of Spa or any other authorized by the management. Is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests at the pool deck, Gym and Changing room areas with the standards of Mondrian Doha. Greets guests at the pool deck area, provides pool towels to guests, escort guests and positions chairs, sets up and refreshes. Maintains the cleanliness and physical appearance of pool deck area, Gym, Changing rooms and the rest rooms and assist the operation as a lifeguard. **How your day looks like**: - To provide courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times. - To perform all duties and tasks in the assigned Place of Work - To be entirely flexible and adapt to rotate within the different sub-department as assigned. - To perform all duties and tasks when rotated or assigned to another Department. - To be fully conversant with all services, activities, facilities Spa and F&B Promotions offered by the hotel and recommend to the guests. - To perform opening and closing procedures established for the Place of Work as assigned. - To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of pool and gym facilities, hours of operation, location of facilities, and emergency procedures. - To ensure that the Place of Work and surrounding area is kept clean and organized at all times. - To monitor operating supplies and reduce spoilage, breakage and wastage. - To handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to Spa Manager and Director of Spa if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow up with guests. - To keep all keys signed out/ in a secure manner and return them at the course of duty. - To hand over to the Housekeeping Supervisor all Lost & Found items with full and detailed information - To have a complete understanding of the different cleaning products and their economical use. - To be familiar with the policies and procedures concerning fire, emergency evacuation, accidents, bomb threats, law and order situations. - Ensures that health, hygiene and safety regulations are complied. - To be fully aware and conversant of Mondrian, values and goals and is responsible to integrate them in the day to day operation. - To be fully aware and conversant of Mondrian environmental Charter and is responsible to integrate them in the day to day operation. - To be fully aware and conversant of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 policies and procedures and responsible to integrate them in the day to day operation. - To collect and segregate the recyclable waste from the guest area. - To use the waste compactor from the garbage room while disposing the general waste. **General** - To understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety. - To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform at all times as per the grooming standards. - To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times. - To maintain a good rapport and working relationship with employees in the Place of Work and all other departments. - To attend and contribute to all staff meetings Departmental and Hotel trainings scheduled and other related activities. - To fully support the Departmental Training Function in the Department assigned. - To respond to any changes in the Housekeeping Department function as dictated by the hotel. - To project at all times a positive and motivated attitude and exercise self control. - To provide a courteous and professional service at all times. **OCCASIONAL DUTIES**: - To assist in carrying out a quarterly and annual inventory of operating equipment. - To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Pool and Fitness supervisor, Assistant spa manager and Director of Spa. **JOB TASKS**: - Performs all duties in a timely and professional manner - Turns in lost and found items throughout shift according to hotel procedures - Cleans and maintains the restrooms, changing rooms and the Gym in the Pool deck area. - Monitors and maintains appropriate inventory of pool towels throughout shift, obtaining clean towels from the laundry and returning dirty towels - Provide excellent service consistent with the hotels standards operating procedures and brand attributes. - To attend daily briefing in Pool and Fitness conducted by Spa Manager, Spa director or supervisor. - To collect Task Sheet, Keys & Tools from the Spa, pool an
