Senior Production Officer - UAEN

Career Opportunity with Department of Culture and Tourism We are seeking a Senior Production officer (UAEN) who will ensure effective implementation of the cultural programmes and public events. The role holder will contribute to the organization of a diverse scope of cultural events and performing arts, such as concerts, film projections, shows and conferences in relation to the collections and programs.Job scope and responsibilities : Works with the Production Unit Head to implement the medium and long-term strategic plans of the department in line with the Abu Dhabi’s vision, mission and strategic goals.Coordinates the cultural activities and contributes to managing the resources responsible for specific program and functions, ensuring contracts are in valid and permits for external suppliers are issued by the appropriate parties.Assists the Production Head and works collaboratively with other departments to organize all logistics matters connected to the cultural programs, including preparation of presentations for cross departmental pre-event knowledge and input.Updates and assists with managing the cultural season calendar, ensuring latest version is shared across departments.Contributes to progress and status reports by analyzing and summarizing the information and trends and target audiences.Contributes in the preparation of the budget for the cultural program initiatives and programs by optimizing the business model.Maintains and manages relationships with cultural partners and ensures appropriate dialogue with stakeholders.Organizes, maintains and distributes the master calendar of programs.Prepares reports for each program pre and post-delivery.Key Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/ Cultural Events Management/ Political Sciences. Theatre programming, performing arts management, arts management Experience in similar position in performing art and cultural events management Knowledge of current practice in audience development and museum education3 years post graduate experience in running audience development programmes in a museum or cultural setting Fluency in Arabic and English #J-18808-Ljbffr
