Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Electrical) Nationality Male Vacancy Job Description The Junior Electrical Engineer – Tower Cranes is responsible for assisting in the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems on tower cranes. This position is ideal for a technically skilled graduate or early-career professional eager to gain hands-on experience in the heavy lifting and crane industry. Electrical Installation & Setup: Support the installation and commissioning of tower crane electrical systems (control panels, limit switches, motors, etc.).Assist in wiring and connecting power supply and control circuits per schematics and standards. Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Identify and report electrical issues in crane operations such as control failures, short circuits, or sensor faults.Replace and test electrical components under supervision (contactors, fuses, relays, etc.). Testing & Diagnostics: Use multimeters, megohmmeters, and diagnostic tools to test crane electrical components.Support periodic inspections and condition monitoring. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain daily service logs, fault reports, and installation checklists.Document any modifications or adjustments done on-site. Compliance & Safety: Ensure all electrical work follows OEM guidelines and safety regulations (local electrical codes, lockout-tagout procedures, etc.).Participate in risk assessments and tool-box talks before fieldwork. Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers, mechanical technicians, riggers, and site supervisors to coordinate electrical tasks during erection or dismantling. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent. Basic understanding of AC/DC circuits, motor controls, VFDs, relays, and PLCs. Familiarity with crane or heavy equipment is a plus (training will be provided) Ability to read electrical schematics and technical manuals. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word). Good communication and teamwork attitude. Willing to work at height and in challenging outdoor environments.
