Senior Accountant-Manufacturing

This role is responsible for overseeing key financial operations, including cost accounting, inventory management, budgeting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, manufacturing processes, and ERP systems. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with company policy. Perform detailed cost accounting, including standard costing, variance analysis, and margin analysis. Monitoring inventory records, including cycle counts, reconciliations, and inventory valuation. Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including vendor and customer reconciliations. Analyse profitability and provide recommendations to optimise cost and enhance financial performance. Coordinate with production and operations teams to ensure accurate financial tracking of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans and prepare a report for management. Support audits and liaise with external auditors and tax consultants to file vat return and maintain compliance with UAE tax laws. Monitor internal controls and support process improvements? Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance field. 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in the UAE. Manufacturing industry experience is an advantage. Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting. Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems. Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
