Description
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute the bank’s overall credit strategy in alignment with business objectives. Lead a global team, building a high-performance, risk-aware culture. Oversee all aspects of credit risk management, including underwriting standards, portfolio quality, and credit review processes. Implement advanced credit analytics and risk assessment models to enhance decision-making. Partner with business units to design credit products that drive responsible growth across retail, SME, and corporate segments. Collaborate closely with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all credit-related regulations and policies. Report to the executive committee and Board on credit risk exposure and portfolio performance. Key Requirements: Proven experience in credit leadership within the banking sector, with deep familiarity with Central and Eastern European markets. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. Minimum of 15 years of experience in credit or risk functions, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity. Strong expertise in credit risk management, regulatory frameworks, and portfolio strategy. Excellent analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Track record of building and scaling credit operations in complex environments.
