Group Head of Credit

Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute the bank’s overall credit strategy in alignment with business objectives. Lead a global team, building a high-performance, risk-aware culture. Oversee all aspects of credit risk management, including underwriting standards, portfolio quality, and credit review processes. Implement advanced credit analytics and risk assessment models to enhance decision-making. Partner with business units to design credit products that drive responsible growth across retail, SME, and corporate segments. Collaborate closely with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all credit-related regulations and policies. Report to the executive committee and Board on credit risk exposure and portfolio performance.   Key Requirements: Proven experience in credit leadership within the banking sector, with deep familiarity with Central and Eastern European markets. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. Minimum of 15 years of experience in credit or risk functions, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity. Strong expertise in credit risk management, regulatory frameworks, and portfolio strategy. Excellent analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
