The coordinator will engage with clients to understand their vision and requirements, transforming those ideas into reality. Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail are vital because the role involves coordinating multiple events simultaneously. The successful candidate will be adept at negotiating with vendors, handling logistics, and managing event staff, all while ensuring participant satisfaction. Exceptional communication skills are necessary for liaising with different stakeholders, ranging from clients to service providers. Additionally, the capacity to adapt swiftly to last-minute changes and troubleshoot unforeseen challenges is essential. Responsibilities: Plan and execute logistics for both corporate and social events. Consult with clients to understand their event objectives and vision. Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers efficiently. Manage event budgets, ensuring costs are monitored and controlled. Develop and implement detailed event timelines and schedules. Oversee event staff and volunteers during the execution of events. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations at all events. Conduct post-event analysis and gather feedback from participants. Research and propose innovative ideas to enhance event impact. Market events through social media channels to broaden audience reach. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during event execution. Maintain clear and effective communication with all event stakeholders. Requirements: Bachelor s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field. Minimum of three years of experience in event coordination roles. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail are essential. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with various stakeholders. Adaptability to manage unpredictable situations and resolve issues swiftly. Familiarity with event management software and social media platforms. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
